Public consultations to be held about police street checks.

The ministry is working to regulate police street checks and is seeking input from members of the public.

In addition to accepting comments online, by letter or by email, we are holding a series of workshop-style public meetings. If you wish to participate, please pre-register in the fields below. Attendance at each meeting is limited and spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Personal information contained on this form is collected pursuant to section 38(2) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used for the purpose of pre-registration for the Street Checks Public Meetings to be held on August 21, 25, 27, 31 and September 1, 2015. August 25, 2015 – Brampton. Loafer’s Lake Recreation Centre Auditorium, 30 Loafer’s Lake Lane (Kennedy Rd. and Sandalwood Parkway) 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
August 27, 2015 – Thunder Bay. Italian Cultural Centre, 132 S. Algoma St., 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
August 31, 2015 – London. Goodwill Industries, 255 Horton St., 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
September 1, 2015 – Toronto. Toronto Reference Library Appel Salon, 789 Yonge St, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
