Ethiopian community in Toronto to Hold vigil for Ethiopians slain by ISIS in Libya

 

Public mourning has been organized in Toronto to pay tribute to fellow Ethiopians brutally killed by isis.

“The vigil is organized to express our condolences, and show our anger on what happened to Ethiopians in Yemen, South Africa & now in Libya,” says a statement by organizers.

The public mourning & vigil planned for Friday April 24 at 6PM will be conducted at East Lynn Park, South of Ethiopian Association Office on Danforth Ave. (1950 Danforth Ave.)
(Just a block west from Woodbine Subway Station).

Ethiopian community Organizers called up on fellow Ethiopians to wear black and bring a non-flammable candles to the gathering.

Religious leaders will be in attendance at the event .

Since 30 Ethiopians have been brutally killed by ISIS , Ethiopians inside an outside of the country have been expressing their sorrow .

The community organizers,who wished comfort and strength to all, asked Ethiopians to spread the word about the vigil .
