The financial capital of Canada , as is known by many . Toronto is 180 years old now .

Proclaimed as the city of Toronto in 1834 with a population of only 30,000,the face of Toronto has changed a lot .
Today’s Toronto is one of the most diverse cities of North America with a mosaic of different cultures.
Literally meaning “a meeting place in aboriginal language , Toronto has proved its name as it becomes a place where different cultures meet .

Every year in March 6, Toronto lights a candle for its birthday looking forward to shine as a city.
Toronto used to be called York and in 1834 named Toronto and since then expanded to become the largest city in Canada.
Home for more than 6 million residents , Toronto has witnessed a massive expansion over the years while public transportation homelessness luck of affordable housing remain major challenges.
