In the month of  November , we notice people wearing the sign of red poppies on their coats .
Historic records stated that a 19th century writer described the poppies as the sign of hope as they popped out after the heaviest fight during world war 1st .

The 1915 poem by john McCrae, “In Flanders Fields” made a connection between the poppy and the fallen soldiers .  Since then Poppies have become symbols to commemorate war veterans.
