People to People Canada will host its 14th annual walkathon this coming Sunday, August 17th, at Christie Pits Park. (P2P is a non-profit registered organization and aims to bring positive social change among children and adults in Canada and Ethiopia).
The organization hopes to raise funds for its slew of initiatives and its worthy mission of helping the children of Ethiopia.
The day long family friendly event, starting in earnest at 10 AM, will include BBQ; face painting for the youth, balloon sculpting and many giveaways to the participants. And yes — and the walk.
